USA FLOOR TEC, INC. ATTENDS HTC UNIVERSITY

Jason Keathly (President) and Brad Burns (Sales Representative) recently made the trip to Knoxville, Tenn. To visit the HTC– America office/warehouse.  While there, they were able to attend the HTC University, meet with other contractors and manufacture representatives, and discuss important advancements in the polished concrete industry.  USA Floor Tec recently purchases an HTC 950 grinder, which is one of the largest and most advanced that HTC offers.

USA FLOOR TEC, INC.  JOINS CONCRETE PROCESSING AND POLISHING TECHNICAL INSTITUTE.

 

 

Brad Burns and Mark Sevarino attended Vexcon’s Certi-Shine Training in Dallas, Tx.  During that time, they were certified to apply Vexcon’s patented FSR (Food Stain Resistance) system for Polished Concrete.  They also worked with Vexcon’s Micro Stain technology, earning certification for that application as well. 

 

Vexcon’s Micro Stain is unique since it is not an acid stain nor a dye.  Because of the patented stain technology, they are able to provide colors not available from other manufacturer's.  One of the most appealing is the Certi-Shine White, which gives a polished concrete floor an overall white appearance and much greater reflectivity.

Jim Cuviello, President of the Concrete Processing and Polishing Technical Institute, asked USA Floor Tec, Inc. to share responsibility by becoming members of the Board of Directors.  The Concrete Processing and Polishing Technical Institute (www.polishinginstitute.org) is committed to establishing standards through accreditation, and to provide quality education and support for Architects, Engineers, General Contractors, Property Owners, Interior Designers, and Concrete Processing/Polishing Contractors.

 

USA Floor Tec considers it an honor to assist CPPTI with working toward Industry Standards and Terminology.  We believe that it is every concrete processing/polishing contractor’s responsibility to educate their technicians, as well as their customers, to the best of their ability.  We also believe that the Industry desperately needs leaders to step forward and unite Contractors, Manufacturers, Architects and Consumers with their common goals.  USA Floor Tec, along with many other contractors throughout the nation, are truly committed to advancing the industry through education and quality craftsmanship.

 

The Concrete Processing and Polishing Technical Institute offers intensive hands on training presented by seasoned concrete polishing professionals.  Courses are currently offered in the Maryland office, but will soon be available  throughout the United States.
